The University Senate has confirmed that the 2023/2024 Academic Session will commence on Monday, 13th November 2023.
First Semester Schedule

- SIWES starts for 300-level students.
- Teaching Practice begins for 400-level students.
- Resumption and Registration for 200L and 300L students (Registration online).
- 15th November 2023:
- Orientation for Teaching Practice (400 Level students) – Virtual.
- 27th – 28th November 2023:
- Convocation Ceremonies.
- 29th November 2023:
- Statutory Senate Meeting.
- 4th December 2023:
- Lectures begin for 100 – 300 Level students.
- 25th – 26th December 2023:
- Public Holidays.
- 27th December 2023:
- Statutory Senate Meeting.
- 15th – 19th January 2024:
- Orientation for fresh students.
- 26th January 2024:
- SIWES ends for 300 Level students.
- 30th January 2024:
- Matriculation ceremony for fresh students.
- 31st January 2024:
- Statutory Senate Meeting.
- 5th – 9th February 2024:
- Continuous Assessment (CBT test for general courses).
- 12th – 16th February 2024:
- Revision Week.
- 19th February 2024:
- Examinations start for 100L – 300L students.
- 28th February 2024:
- Statutory Senate Meeting.
- 8th March 2024:
- Teaching Practice ends for 400L students.
- Examination ends for 100L – 300L students.
Second Semester Schedule
- 25th March 2024:
- Second Semester begins with lectures for all levels.

- 13th – 17th May 2024:
- Continuous Assessment (CBT for general courses).
