Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK cut-off mark for 2023/2024 admission via Post-UTME screening is out. UNIZIK have three (3) categories of departmental cut-off marks to be used for admission for the 2023/2024 academic session.
Candidates who chose Nnamdi Azikiwe University, UNIZIK during JAMB registration are hereby informed. Such candidates / prospective students are hereby advised to check them before proceeding to apply for the UNIZIK Post-UTME Screening.
All UNIZIK Score Requirements
There are two categories, the first is the JAMB cut-off marks, that is, the score you must get in JAMB UTME to qualify for the Post-UTME screening. The second one is the score you must have to in your Post-UTME screening. This is called the UNIZIK Post-UTME cut-off mark.
UNIZIK Post-UTME Cut-off Mark (JAMB)
FACULTIES/ PROGRAMMES WITH CUT-OFF MARK OF 200:
- HEALTH SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY: Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Rehabilitation, Nursing Science, Radiography.
- LAW, MEDICINE & SURGERY, PHARMACY.
FACULTIES/ PROGRAMMES WITH CUT-OFF MARK OF 180.
- ARTS, BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES, ENGINEERING, MANAGEMENT SCIENCES
- BIOSCIENCES: Biological Science, Botany, Parasitology & Entomology, Zoology,Applied Biochemistry, Applied Microbiology.
FACULTIES/ PROGRAMMES WITH CUT- OFF MARK OF 160.
- AGRICULTURE, ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES
- PHYSICAL SCIENCES: Chemistry, Geological Science, Geophysics, Mathematics, Physics and Industrial Physics, Pure & Industrial Chemistry, Computer Science, Statistics.
- All Affiliate Institutions.
- EDUCATION
- ENGINEERING
UNIZIK Post-UTME Cut-Off Marks (Departmental)
Post UTME cutoff marks are 50% for courses whose JAMB cutoff is 200, 45% for 180 and 40% for 160.
How To Calculate Your UNIZIK Aggregate/Average Score
You can calculate your UNIZIK aggregate cut-off mark by doing the following simple mathematics.
- Multiply your UNIZIK Post UTME Score by 4
- Add the result from 1 above to your JAMB score
- Divide your result in 2 above by 2, and that is your aggregate score
For example, if you score 60 in Post-UTME and 210 in JAMB UTME, you calculation should look like the following:
- 4 x 60 = 240
- 240 above + 210 JAMB score = 450
- 450 ÷ 2 = 225
Your aggregate UNIZIK aggregate cut-off mark will be 225.
