Eweka replaces Kolawole as NSCDC Commandant in Lagos

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has posted Edenabu Okoro Eweka to Lagos as the Commandant.

Eweka assumed office in Alausa, Ikeja, on Monday after taking over from his predecessor, Ayeni Paul Kolawole.

He had served in various capacities and locations, his last deployment being as a Commandant in Ondo State Commandant.

The officer described Kolawole as a role model and commended his efforts and leadership.

Eweka called Lagos a home, recalling his tertiary education at the University of Lagos, where he bagged a degree in Accounting.

He appealed to officers and men of the state command to extend the support and cooperation they gave to Kolawole.

The NSCDC chief charged them to rededicate themselves to statutory duties and remain patriotic to Nigeria.
