The attention of the University Management has been drawn to a misleading publication being peddled on some social media platforms claiming that some Universities in Nigeria currently running postgraduate programmes did not secure the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run such programmes. In the purported publication, the reporter published an “updated” list of approved postgraduate awarding institutions in Nigeria of which Federal University Lokoja (FUL), which had obtained NUC’s approval in July 2019 after a successful Resource Verification conducted by a Team of Experts from the Commission, was conspicuously and erroneously removed/omitted from the list to cause disaffections
