The Governing Authorities of Abia State University has approved the postponement of the proposed 27th Convocation Ceremony of the University till further notice, due to recent global developments. Similarly, the proposed 1st Semester 2019/2020 Examinations scheduled to commence on Monday 23rd March 2020 has been put off indefinitely. Students are therefore directed to vacate the University Campuses with effect from Sunday, 22nd March 2020. The Governor and Visitor to the University, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu PhD has however graciously directed that Lecturers of the University should engage students on online tutorials for the period of the vacation.
