<p>A former Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, Prof Chidi Odinkalu, has questioned President Bola Tinubu’s citizenship, educational background and family history in Nigeria.</p>
<p>Odinkalu said the major details of Tinubu’s personal information are still not clear.</p>
<p>The Professor of Law spoke in a video posted on social media, where he pointed out what he saw as problems with the President’s public records.</p>
<p>He said Nigerians still don’t know the President’s real nationality because of his alleged link to a Guinean diplomatic passport.</p>
<p>Odinkalu said: “We have a President whose nationality is unknown because he holds a Guinea diplomatic passport. We don’t know the parentage or family background of some people, and now we understand that President Buhari also thought the same.</p>
<p>“Somebody whose parentage, whose genealogy we do not know and we now understand that President Buhari thought the same thing too; whose primary school we do not know, whose secondary school we do not know, and who now claims to have gone to university.”</p>
<p>The senior lawyer asked how someone can say they got a university degree without having proper records of their primary and secondary education.</p>
<p>This comes amid reports that the President did not provide his primary and secondary school certificates in the forms he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.</p>
